Carrera GT in Edinburgh

Was on a stag weekend in Edinburgh... on Friday afternoon we were drinking like fish in the Grassmarket area and there was a nice titanium grey Carrera GT parked up outside the Mussels restaurant... bloody fantastic looking car - only seen one static at the Festival of Speed before, and at the Porsche Festival at Brands a year ago.

It makes an utterly awesome sound! The videos floating around the internet do not do it justice.

There were loads of rather tasty cars floating around Edinburgh come to think of it, but if that particular CGT is anyone's here... fine choice

Siver one was at Gleneagles on Tuesday. Triple xxx in no.

Very nice. My nephew took lots of photos of it with my 968 CS and the 996 turbo next door to itin the car park!

I've seen this CGT a few times now,and yes the noise is spine tingling, It lives about 10 mins from my flat.

Although there's a new Murcielago LP640 at Lamborghini Edinburgh if anyone fancies a look.
Saw a Pagani Zonda at Waverley Station a couple of weeks ago - and one going down Union Street in Aberdeen. Now THAT was impressive... BRRRAAAP

Was driving back down the M1 towards London at 5am on Sunday morning (stupidly early I know..!!) when I overtook a CGT cruising nicely at about 70mph on the inside lane - not too many people can say they've done that...

Black or dark blue LHD with *** WOW on the plate. Went past and noticed the guy on the phone hence the slow speed. A few miles later it came screaming past at around jct 5. I was doing a healthy 110mph (totally empty road) and it left me for dead - I'd say at least 150mph. Sounded absolutely amazing...!!

Anybody from here - if so, you've got yourself a stunner and I'm very jealous..!!
