I know that Petclub will be there and I intend going, but with a 10 day old baby in the house what is intended and what actually happens seem to be different things at the moment

Dave, just got your message.. Looks like I'll miss this one; not going to finish until 6ish then will have an hours drive to get there. Might pop in on my way, but suspect I'll be too knackered to think straight..

Hi Ken,

Ashby Folville is a couple of miles SW of Melton Mowbray. The meet happens the 2nd Tues of each month. It's a tiny village that has a pub and a cricket pitch. The cricket pitch gets filled up with a very diverse collection of "interesting cars" - from rare classics to modern exotica. The pub car park hosts the vintage stuff, and the surrounding lanes are rammed with 100's & 100's of bikes. It's difficult to estimate no's, but there must have been 7-800 people there in July. Once the cricket pitch is full (about 18.30 this time of year!) there is plenty of parking in the surrounding fields.

Where are you in East Mid's?

Thanks for the info. I used to have a call in Ashby Folville so know the village, just didn't know what happened.
Will try for tonight but last night the fuel pump packed up. managed to get it working again but it has now happened twice, although six months apart.
I live in Shepshed, near loughborough. There is another "S" in the village but I havn't met up with him yet

This sounds good, should be a few S's there tonight. For anyone that's not been before, it may be worth mentioning the cricket pitch field is a mobile phone black spot for most of us and therefore makes it difficult to contact each other. It's hot and sunny in Leics so it'll be busy. Dave

Didn't make last night./ Fuel pump packed up on the A6 just outside Mountsorrel. Had to wait until 8.30 for the RAC to trailer me home. A bit pi**ed off to say the least. Looks like the pump has finally given up.

Not sure if its a DIY job or book it into the garage. The thought of petrol everywhere on the front drive if i don't block the tubes is not one to consider.

Sorry to hear of your problems Ken. Never mind, you could have been in Petclubs "boat" i.e. go to Ashby without the roof in the boot and get wet on the way home

Hi I left my roof at home too and got very wet after a pub stop in Gaddesby on the way home. Message to Ken10210 I also live in Shepshed off Conway Drive and a friend of my has a blue S3 and lives in the centre of the village, so we should compare notes sometime.

Happened to me on more than one occaision..

Sorry I missed it, job interview/assessment centre from hell an hour or so south of you, (didn't escape until 7 at which point I was cabbaged..)..
