Bleaching on my paintwork
Discussion
Ok lads and ladettes, i have a major headache....
I probably know the answer to this, and im not looking forward to it...my phase 2 pug 205 gti has a lot of bleaching to the paintwork due to sweating, ive tried t-cut, with no success, have you any other advice? do i have to go and have a proffessional cut done or worse-respray? my bruv reckons i should just spray it myself, but as a typical female, im a perfectionist.
Also, the starter has gone, probably due to being sat in my mums back garden for three months, ive been told it might just be the connector to the starter, but starters aint in my array of knowledge.
Cheers

Hiya,
Appache: It red - the detailer reckons that because its been hot and under a tarp for a month the paint has 'sweated', i know it sound stupid, but thats apparently caused it to bleach in lots of patchy areas- and they aint small either. i have a proff coming on tuesday to look at it - £60 for the privilige tho
Mikey T: Tried and tested babes, tried rocking it in 5th too, but no joy.
WildO: im in lincolnshire hun

Ask a paint chap or good valeter to give it a 'mop' it sounds like your paint has oxidised and red is a bitch for doing this. Hopefully it hasn't gone too far, you might have to keep it waxed though
Hi guys,
so im a bit miffed, the news was certainly not good. The oxidation is so bad its under the laquer, mop didnt touch it. Means a full respray as its in patches all over. i rang a few places and one bloke quoted me £2000!!! hes out his tree if he thinks im paying that!
On the upside, the guy that came out to do the mop didnt charge me.
Anyhows, if anyone knows of any decent paintshops around the lincoln area, please give us a shout!
Cheers
