will be looking for some advice on where he can get it repaired (SE based) at better rates than Ferrari main dealer - any suggestions gratefully received.

Sean- strongly suggest your mate puts in a call to Ajay @ Scuderia Systems 01784 434394; he knows most of the franchised & independent dealers in the SE and will be able give your mate the lowdown on relative competence & costs.

what happened ?

combination of new front tyres, shagged rears, bit too much enthusiasm out of chicane at start of pit straight (National circuit), spin into pit wall hitting OSF corner then OSR. mainly panel damage we hope!!

AH the standard Donny prang... i've seen at least 2 cars actualy endup in the pitlane entrance....
