LHD 968 Grerman Via Japan

Come across a LHD 968 imported from Japan that was originally from Germany (apparantly)
Car doesnt seem to have much history execpt sticker for last service and cam belt change.
Does anybody have tips on how I could check it out?
Mileage displayed is low and I know I am taking a risk but seriously tempted.
Car has half leather and looks like cup wheels. What specs did they sell in Geremany in 93?
Car in Essex anybody know somebody who could do an inspection for me?

Hmmm apparently imported from germany? Well it will 100% have been imported from Germany seeing as they are made there, however it could mean it was a german registered car that was exported to HK.
I would say your big worries here are:
Has it been stolen/written off in one of the countries and been exported to hide that fact.
Has it had a very hard life along the way, eg as a track car.
No service history? can you check with the dealer that has maintained it?
Basically this would have to be very very cheap to be interesting, there are a lot of risks, it could of course be the best example out there, but I doubt it, if its a really well looked after car they would have looked after the handbook and history too.
