Saw this on Granada reports this morning. They showed a few Sagarii and said things were looking good.

So they've found a site. All they need to do now is get planning permission, invite tenders for the build & fit out, appoint the successful contractors.

Hardly a done deal quite yet is it.

None of this worries me - what does is the "new" car line up. They need something new, and better to go with the new factory. It's time to put the Peter Wheeler years aside, and get a completely new line up. Hopefully next year....

What's not done about it? You think planning permission will be an issue when the site has been obtained after extensive discussions with the council? You think they'll struggle to find contractors who want to do the work? If you do, you really are talking out of the wrong oriface.

The PH version of the story makes clear that this announcement is about the strategic relocation as opposed to the interim relocation already announced.
