99 Boxter creaks...
Discussion
No idea I'm afraid, but has it started recently?
I only ask because I have had cars in the past go a bit creaky during long hot/dry spells.
You could just follow the advice I heard my mechanic give to someone complaing of a funny noise...
"Do you have a stereo in your car?"
"yes, do you think it could be that?"
"No just turn it up, you won't hear it anymore"
But seriously, good luck with the creak - I know how annoying noises like that can be.
Bob.

Cheers all, it has only started while the weather's been exceptionally hot. Driving home through the floods of SW London last night was fine but back again this morning.
To hear that it may be due to heat is great, i'll see what happens. Other than that, the stereo option will do for now!

)!! Was told by the OPC that some PTFE tape on the piece of bodywork that lifts up to allow the roof to go up/down should resolve it, going to get them to fit it at next service.
