Wheel centre caps

I need to replace the centre caps on the 944. I hear you can get metal or plastic versions. It seems lots of parts suppliers have them. Anybody recommend any type/supplier in particular ?

If I could leech onto this thread, I have a similar request. The centre caps on my 17" Cups have seen better days. They are of the black, convex, plastic variety rather than the later, concave type All the parts companies seem to want about £25 per wheel which seems a little steep, IMHO.

Anyone been in a similar position?

The previous owner of my car bought 4 brand new 18" turbo II alloys and put 4 new tyres on them all from OPC £2700, i have recipt.
But for some strange reason I htink he kept the original centre caps, they are metal with porsche badges rivited to them, they spin independenly of the wheel. they are some what fadded but at £100+ to replace them i will be sticking with them, its a pity as they would realy finish the wheels off as they are as new on done 2500 miles.

Does anyone know if they are original or are thet cheap tacky rip off's?
