Took the car out for a test run after rebuilding the drivetrain and I re-profiled a cat
I felt sorry for the poor animal but it did jump out and I could nothing about it at all. Has anyone else clobbered someones pet? or even a small furry mammal!! come on let us have your sorrowful tales, honest I do feel for the cat.

I ran over a rabbit on my way back from work after a long shift and thought that it would good for tea!
Having left it in my mum garage i fogot all about it ,Four days later i came back to find a moving bag
Something are best left alone.
I have just bought a s2 and would like to fit a cosworth yb motor.
Has any one got an idea as to the scale of the job?

this is a bit of a sick thread but .....
coming back fom visiting my dad about 6 years ago I was riding a gsxr 1100 at about ***mph when a pheasant flew up right in front of me.
i never even got my fingers to the brake lever before he bounced off the fork leg and smashed through the radiator covering me in £900 worth of debris and scalding hot coolant.
needless to say that despite my 5 whole days spent on a first aid course making me an expert paramedic....he didn't make it
felt really sorry but at least it was quick

Had a moment in Wales involving a sheep, a MX5 and me. Its amazing how fast a sheep can move when your are bearing down on it in a black MX5 doing mach 3! Was on the way to do some climbing in the mountains. I think I left a few mil of tyre rubber on the road trying to avoid hitting the bugger!
Scooped up a seagull onto the bonnet of my RS2000 MKII. it slid along the bonnet backwards until its arse hit the windscreen and then, with the help of my right foot, gained enough airspeed to get airborne. I laughed all the way into Inverness!

Funny you should say that, I thought it was my neighbours cat as he hadn`t seen it for a while. Same colour etc, etc, then it suddenly appeared, after I told him I thought I had run over his P+J.
Years ago, about a month after I had passed my test I was driving my pride and joy (a white D-reg Ford Orion) on the dual carriageway which runs parallel to the perimeter road of Heathrow up where T5 now is. Travelling at about 50mph, I became aware of an erratically parked Audi about 300 yards ahead on the left hand verge, back end sticking out onto the inside lane and the drivers door open. Proceeding down the inside lane towards me was a lady of not insignificant mass obviously in distress. I scanned the road for other vehicles, assuming an accident, checked mirrors and began to slow in order to stop and help.
It was only as the injured duck went between the wheels of my car that I realised what was going on. The large lady in the Audi had given this thing a clout and it had ended up paralysed in the middle of the road. She was going back to try and rescue it when muggings here despatched it fully with his Dagenham murder carriage. It made a hollow thud as it clipped my exhaust pipe. In my mirror I saw the lady turn and wander back, dejected to her car.

I knocked over my best mate once...does that count?
Well...I thought he was going to get out of the way didnt I.
and it was not more than thirty MPH...after the skid.
I did save a duck that had been hit and took it to a local sanctury. It lived another 10 years !
Don't know about my mate, didnt see that much of him after that
Oh, and a squirrel. sorry.
