Unbiased opinions please. After a summer convertible car given this weather, so the choice at the moment is

VX220T
Boxster S
Mini Conv
TT 225
XK8/XKR

Thoughts?

Very different cars those?! What do you want to do? Cruise, hoon or a bit of both?

Bit of both, but if I want a real hoom I'll take the Noble, cruise the X5 so something inbetween, hence the wide choice from both ends and the middle between the 2 current ones if-you-see-what-I-mean.

I'd go for the Boxster S then. VX220 to close to Noble end of the spectrum. Jag to close to X5. Mate had Boxster S which I've driven on road and several sessions around Bedford. I was very impressed.

Got to be the XKR, V8, Supercharger bit of a barge but considering the other cars you have it would be just about right.

Justn, you already have someting in your stable that does what they all do apart from the XKR - a quiet wafting GT with a resaonable straight-line punch but (not impressive around the corners but n/a in this case).

VX220T- would you fit?
Boxster S- good choice all round. (new one is lovely)
Mini Conv- might make you look a bit camp?
TT 225- nah! Not you sir! Your a petrolhead!!
XK8/XKR - not different enough to the noble.

I personally would go old and get something open top and very cool like a 1965 Mustang or an old merc 300sl or a ferrari dino spyder

Of your list though and with your current collection, Boxter everytime. Or S2000 as has beeen suggested.

I thought your Marcos was a ragtop and I also thought you had an elise?

Any budget restrictions? Buying new or used?

Audi RS4 cabriolet (don't know if you'll get on in time though)
Bentley Continental GTC
BMW 6 Series
Ferrari 360 Spyder
Gallardo Spyder
Maserati 4200 Spyder
Morgan Aero8
Caterham

£20-25k for a bit of fun, which leaves your list a bit on the high side

As for the Caterham, I need something I can leave outside as the extension isn't built.

Boxster S, for the chassis, the noise and the residuals if you buy and sell privately*
