Track day cover and insurance (again sorry)
Discussion
Its just come to my attention that my insurance comes up in 4 days!
Called Autotorque and Chauser (who gave me an excellent year of cover inc as many TD's as I want for £25 a pop) will not cover me again due to my bumb at Bedford (which waqs not even my fault
)
I have not rung around yet to A-plan and the other usual suspects, but I need to know if you know of any others who include TDay cover at good rates, or of companies that do single day policies for TD's and how much that is.
Don't want to go to A plan or Tesco and then find I have to pay £350 a day for track cover.
Any help please.

Competition Car Insurance are very expensive if you use the car every day - but will supply a policy with 4 Track Days included.
A-Plan don't do track day cover.
I took out a policy with A-Plan with the idea that if I need one off cover I will use Competition Car Insurance as they offer cover at £50 a go.

Just to clarify. If you have a policy with CCI and have exhausted your 4 'free' trackdays further trackdays can be covered at 0.5% of vehicle value. i.e. 30K Noble = £150, 50K Noble = £250. If you are on policy with them you can not then insure the car for a fixed amount it must be the value on the policy for that year.
CCI policy is really aimed at the occasional user and does not covers commute etc... if you are a daily driver they may not be able to offer a competitive price.

This is great!! Due to being crashed into at Bedford Autodrome last year, I now can't seem to get insurance! Certainally not with trackday cover.
Looks like no trackdays for me. Will have to sell the noble and get a VX220 I think.

Keep trying mate - otherwise someone else will have to drive you to Calais!...

Comp car ins are £1675 with 4 TD's and a £700 excess. How is that in comparison to other peoples?
A plan can do £699 with no TD cover but that involves steeling the NCB from my work car and cancelling that policy etc etc etc.

My renewal quote was just under 1K with 1K excess, the usual 4 TD's and 5K limited mileage.
