Name that cam please

I had a new cam fitted in my 450 Chim last year. All I know is that it was fitted by V8 devlopments and is a Kent "Vizzard" cam after its designer, and was fitted with stage 3 heads etc.
Anyone know which cam this is by its real name?

Can't help, but you are referring to Dave Vizzard, also known for his books on tuning classic Minis.

absolutely no idea the last cam that david did for us was in the early ninetys!! i have done the cams since then!

Hmm. That's interesting. Richard Thorpe dealt with V8developments on this as they are his usual engine builder and he told me that he asks them to fit a Vizzard cam.??
I'll need to chase this up a bit more I guess. Was just wondering if any of the V8 boffins knew!

It's a bit lumpy below 2000rpm but absolutely sings above 3000 and onwards. Compared to when I first got the car back, the lumpiness has smoothed out a lot. It sounds like a NASCAR at tick over!

Has anyone fitted the 'stealth' cam and got a RR result for it yet .... I've seen it mentioned alot but not seen any results posted ?

If Andy's Griff is anything to go by the ultimate figures are slightly lower than some cams, however the manners of the Stealth cam is something that you can't see on a rolling road, but when an engine pulls like a train uphill from tickover in 5th to flat out it cannot fail to impress. Major respect to Andy in building the engine and V8D for the cam.
