CDL Prepare for GTs

Tuscan R to race again in 2003

CDL racing have confirmd that they will be campaigning the ex-Rollcentre Tuscan R in the 2003 British GT Championship.

The Tuscan R will be run in addition to the Tuscan Challenge cars that have served CDL so well. It was a natural move for the Tuscan champions to move into GTs but finding the right car has taken time.

Having raced and won with TVRs for the last eight years, it was expected that CDL would stick with TVR for their step into GT racing.

Team Manager Bert Taylor told us, "The GT entry is a new era for CDL. I have wanted to do this for the last two years. If it had not been for Peter Wheeler, CDL would not have been racing. Peter has been involved in our purchase of the Tuscan R and I would personally like to thank him and all at the factory."

No driver line up has been confirmed yet but it's expected CDL will draw upon their existing team of Tuscan drivers.

Can we assume from Steve G's column in Sprint that he may not be competing this season .
Either way....way to go CDL, good luck for the forthcoming season in both spheres

All at CDL are extremely pleased to have secured the TUSCAN R for the 2003 British GT Campaign.

We thank all our well wishers for your kind words and look forward to seeing you all trackside during the season.

Please do not hesitate to pop your head in the awning for a quick pic/coffee/chat.....
