a little "tinkle" - Drive shaft??

Went drag racing on Sunday at Shakespeare race way. Good day out, very hot but a great track. Surface was like glue. Had trouble getting any wheel spin - got a 12.4 which I was happy about........... anyway... whilst pushing the car in the queue to race, i could hear a slight "tinkle" every revolution or so of the back wheels. Possible drive shaft going? Only slight, and only for a second on each rev of the wheel, not all the time. Car went fine etc, but worried that a CV joint may be on the way out. Anyone else had this?

sounds like a suspect cv to me.
i bet shakey was a tad hot at the weekend, we were going to go but decided not to.

Have the outer joints got any grease in them ???
