Is there a Nobles owners club?

www.nobleownersclub.com looks to be inactive.

Someone needs a kick up the a$$ (!) - it was announced amid great fanfare last year and there is so far;

- An inactive website

- One trackday organised in the depths of winter and invites sent out last thing

- Another trackday organised in winter (this November)

Surely this is not what the factory had in mind when allowing use of the name and mailing lists. Maybe someone (or the factory) should take it over if the current people haven't the time.

Don't mean to ruffle feathers but if it's going to be done properly and all that.....

My insurance company (Competition car) wants to see my membership to the Noble Owners Club. I assume some sort of membership card is expected. I applied to NobleOwnersClub.com in January and I have a logon. Not sure if that will be good enough though. What does everyone else do in these circumstances?

The club has no connection with competition car insurance so I'm surprised they have offered something in connection. I did speak to them before the brands hatch day about a group buy on insurance, but most folks went with autotorque.

Have they asked for it. I've never been asked to prove my ownership of the Lotus, Audi or Noble OCs even though I have got/get discounts because of them all.

I'd be amazed if an insurer wanted any 'proof'.

Er...no Do you need to post more to dare to speak the truth on this forum then? What part of what I said was untrue?

If it helps I have had my GTO3 for over a year but only recently registered on Pistonheads although I read the forums quite a bit. I didn't realise I had to go through endless backslapping posts to join in.

I guess its just that a few of the owners on here have actually put in a vast amount of their own time and effort in order to get the NOC to where it is now.

The website has been built and does work, the first NOC trackday was planned, organised and went without a hitch and the 2nd day has now been organised too.

All by a few keen owners.

The factory and Noble themselves, have and do give the NOC their full support but they do not have the budget, time or resourses at this stage to pump into a full NOC.

The trackdays are over the winter only because the track hire cost is roughly one qauter of the summer cost. I am sure we could book Brands in July, but I doubt that many owners would pay over £300 each.

As time and enthusiasm from our small community builds, so too will the Noble owners club. As it does, our own support and apprectation is whats required.

Your post could have been written with a little more thought and sounded keen and interested rather than mean and grumpy!

Now lets all be friends and try to get Tacho's post tally up to a backslapping level!

Was just think today that I ought to get a track day booked up.

Shall I find a few that are heppenning in August and see if a few of us want to go?

Will look into dates and post up a few options later.

Anyone else know of any with a few spaces left?

Of course not! You've seen the reception given to ex-noble owners on here! Its not pretty! I suggest you call the new owner and explain that you have made a terrible mistake!

Ok, but as long as your not in anything thats unbeatable! (by me!)
