Anyone bought any tyres recently?

Mot is due on my car next week, and my rear tyres are fecked so looks like open wallet surgery for me as I also need some new fronts. Advice on the cheapest place to buy some new ones from would be much appreciated, best price I have been quoted so far has been £860 fitted for Pirelli's.

harry at Image Wheels in Tipton told me he could fit a set of Kumho's for about £800. couple of months back now though and not exactly local to you.

Demon Tweeks list kumho ecsta v70 in a medium compound at £215.25 plus vat. Some posts here have said that these don't last long but I've put nearly 2k of hard work on them and they still have plenty of tread left, and they do grip.

Cheers for the reply chaps, I have the Khumo V70 fitted on the rear at the moment, given there is not all that much difference in price between the Khumo and Pirelli, and the Pirelli's should last a bit longer I think I will go for the Pirelli's.

Have you tried these guys they seem cheaper than others I have found on the net. www.tradetyres.net not as cheap as those Kumhos
