cerbera rear exhaust mounts

I have a 2000 cerbera 4.5 lightweight which has a sports exausts, but the rear metalastic mounts keep breaking has anybody had the same problem and is there a cure

Yes fit genuine Ford exhaust rubber mounts and back them up with two strong tie fastners on each mount.

Hi Bill,

Firstly you'd be best off posting this in the Cerbera section of the forum.

Couple of questions:

Which bit keeps breaking?
The threaded metal hanger?
The rubber mount?
The metal piece that is welded to your sports exhaust?

Can't honestly say I've had a problem with mine apart from the metal hanger becoming threaded and also slightly bent. It becomes bent possibly due to the exhaust expanding and moving an inch or so when hot, vibration and general lack of support of the whole system. Those two rear mounts are all that holds the exhaust system apart from where the manifold is attached to the engine.
