It is with great regret I have to inform you all that the S has gone to another owner , who I would imagine will be along to post his own notes later. As usual the engine note was listened too as it disappeared over the horizon, and by feck it sounded nice .

It has been a great pleasure to be a member of the S club since its inception, as far back as the first ever Pistonheads meet at Virginia Waters when I was in the market looking at S's. I will of course still be frequenting these pages, subject to your approval and continued warm welcome .

As an aside I nearly had a fit today topping up the bills in the folder amassed under my stewardship of the V8S over the last 4.5 years, all I can say is and nearly twice what it was sold for

The Cerbera replacement is still being built, but rest assured I will have put my mark on that too . Thread here for those S owners that don't venture into the Cerbera topics http://pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.

sorry to hear that Harry, however glad to hear you are still on the line with what seems to be a nice looking car...

Have fun with your new wheels when they are ready

Look forward to hearing more about the new project Harry, and seeing it in due course.

Now bugger off back to the Cerbera forum!

Peter you sprung to mind during the sale, the new owner is not intersted in the old catted arrangement (manifolds & down pipe) I have tucked up in the garage, not sure if you want it, its bolted flange type.

Harry Im not sure what made me pop into the S forum this afternoon (I ashamedly admit I hardly ever do - dont read the cerbera forum either though ) but Im glad I did

Congratulations

I must admit, I came very close to shedding a tear when my V8S went, it was a sad day indeed. You're still in the TVR fold though And it looks like youve found yourself a wonderful and well deserved replacement!

Wishing you many more happy years of TVR ownership, and a lot more pops and bangs Ive got a spare "seat of your pants" if you want to borrow mine, so as not to spoil yours the day the rebuild is finished

Happy days

Looked a nice example. Reminds me of when I bought my car. The previous owner asked me to welly it up his road, so he could hear it one last time!

Don't worry Harry. After my phone call to you it took me about two minutes to fix
so thanks for your help! It's a great car Harry and I know this may not ease your sadness but I've had a great afternoon and evening in her.

All the best mate and good luck with the new beast once she's ready. I daresay that under your stewardship she'll without doubt be one of the most hair raising machines on the road. (Probably not the best metaphor given my particular haircut!!)

Cheers mate,

Steve.

You want to get on there more often, it`s great fun
"My car`s faster than your car",
"My car`s more powerful than your your car",
"My rolling roads better than yours",
"My induction kit is shiner than yours"
"My tuner`s has a bigger penis than yours",
And all the other hand bag stuff

If it's come off at the pedal end, you need to squash the top of the pedal slightly so that the ferrule on the end of the cable is a tight fit.
