Went to Goodwood on Friday and my advice is to avoid Midhust and the A286.
Spent a hour queuing into Midhurst on the A286 in the morning and an hour from Goodwood to Midhursy in the evening.
Best to take the A27 to Chichester then go up the A286. It looks longer but it will be quicker.
Oh, look out for the guy in the knackered transit from one of the support teams. He's faster than most of the cars around the first bend on the hill climb!
For Sunday, go earlier and go striaght up the hill to the 4x4 area and book yourself a go in a Bowler 4x4, it's £15 pax - well worth it. They'll give a time to return for your go.
