Thats all very nice Pete but don't waste those all important last minutes faffing around with the vaguaries. Now,do yourself a list and for Christ sake, don't overlook the essentials like spare pants, wet wipes, boiled sweets(so your ears don't go pop upon re-entry),it may seem like fun at the moment but I am willing to bet that there will be a fair amount of fervered activity at about 9.30am on Sunday. As I said earlier, best of British and all that and can you bring me back some rock (a stick of not a boulder).

Looks good!

My top tips for spares/tools:
1) fan and air con belts
2) jump leads
3) tyre weld(x2) and pump
4) fire extinguisher
5) some sort of strap to tie around front wish bone should you need a tow. (not that you will)

Good luck with the trip

Ah, so you'll have a camera with IR LEDs too then.

Dunno whether to fit mine now as the rear view mirror does a fine job. Then again, you haven't got a bulkhead to contend with in a Can-Am

Sorry Stig as soon as you fit roof and use it that mirror will become redundant.

I was thinking about fitting a rear view mirror then I came across this thread. On the off chance there are any Can-am owners who can comment, do you advocate a rear-view mirror or is it a waste of time ? Crazy, you mentioned it was no good with roof fitted but down, what's it like with the roof up ?

Pretty poor coverage I thought - but then again, we kept away from convoy driving.

The unit allows you to switch between mirror and actual view, depending on what you want to do with it. Mirror is obviously safer when on the road.

That looks like it works great. I really like how all of the guages, buttons, and other lights are all the same color. Was it planned (aka lights/LED's changed to match), or did it just work out that way? Looks great!!!

I'd love to say it was planned, but sadly not. First came the switches (seen them on that German Technocars Ultima) then the audio unit just happened to match. Then the instruments would have looked outta place with white illumination, so blue leds they became.

Been off line a while V8owner. I did not know it had been used, is it the picture with Danesfield house in background or Trees. Shots were taken for professional photographer. Original was used by WHSmiths 2005 supercars calendar. Nice to know its still doing the rounds.
On the subject of rear view. With hood up mirror should be OK although I do not use one. Vision much as TVR's etc through plastic window.
Stig is your mirror set to see below rear spoiler
