You are posting on Pistonheads the no.1 indi' TVR web discussion forum.

Ted initially set up PH to discuss 'S' matter and since that time it has grown to what you see today, I think you'll be very hard pressed to get anywhere close to Pistonheads. I can't see that you are offering anything that PH doesn't.

I kind of agree with TT tim - I think this site covers all bases so why look at other sites TBH with you.

That's what you're getting, noone is trying to shoot you down, just a reality check. Feedback depends on what your reasoning is behind your site.

PH is far more active than the TVRCC forums, so where do you think you are better.

Present the user with the plus points and reasons why they should yous your site in preference over others and see what happens. Only time will tell.

Well, I'm just wondering if I'm missing any important subforums in the TVR-Talk Parent Forum, all I have is 4 forums under there. They are broad thought so i'm wondeing if I should add any more.

You need to clean the html for SEO. Get those styles into a external CSS file.

What's SEO? And the CSS runs from a database and inserts into the script, that's how Invision Power Board works

SEO = Search Engine Optimisation

Making your site as readable by search engines as possible (and using your key words on the page to maximise your search position), while also giving a good user experience.

Oh, Invision Power Board comes with a skin just for Search Engines that it hides from members, becuase it is a text skin

Keep the number of forums to a minimum - you want your users to feel part of a community, not stuffed into a box with barely anyone to talk to. Only add forums when a particular topic becomes commonplace and overwhelms other subjects making them hard to find for your users.

I'm trying to figure out what the site's for. I guess it's intended to draw visitors to the shop? Can't see any other reason to visit, I don't see any demand for yet another TVR news portal and discussion forum.

If you're looking for an excuse to run an online community, I think you need to find another subject area. If you're hoping this will grow into something similar to PH then good luck to you but I think you're several years too late.
