FUEL & INJECTOR PUMPS

Hi All, Any help please.

I know I`m a misersable b------- but my lovely toy just decided not to go ANY MORE. It TURNS over a treat but the pumps will not activate.
I just stopped to fit my radio, poked my head under the dash ( passengers side ), wiggled a few wires and haven`t been anywhere for the last THREE day.
I bought a Haynes manual for the wiring diagram but its not the same.
ANY body know an expert in these matters and or have a TVR S2, 2.9 Ford wiring diagram please. I don`t mind paying for it but I`m just desperate to get the thing going asap.
Pleeeeeeeeese, I`ll buy you a beer!!!

It could be that you have disturbed the Fuel Pump relays. They are among the rats nest of wires that hides behind the panel above the passenger footwell. There should be a yellow one and a smaller brown one there, (just dangling on wires if mine is anything to go by). Check that they are still tight in their holders and the diode which sits beside one of them is also in tight.
There is a wiring diagram in "the Bible" which is well worth getting (no, actually its essential!) from Steve Heath Publications. Also if you are a TVRCC member you can download the diagrams from their website (from the Archive area IIRC)

Cheers Mick, this is the problem , with no information I don`t know what it what . However there is a Free diode hanging on a thick Yellow with green strip, could this be something to do with it. Also there is are two joined wires, Green & a Purple hanging loose.
Lastly there is a a couple I think Red & Blue in a free hanging plug.
Any help would be grat, I could come over to see you if that would help,

Hmm! Sounds a bit odd - but then TVR wiring is odd.
I will e-mail a copy of the wiring diagram to the address on your website. There are two sheets - it is the supplement one you need to look at, this covers the wiring changes from S1 to S2. Of course, bear in mind that any TVR documention is for guidance only!
If it will help you are very welcome to have a look at mine, but there is undoubtedly an S owner closer to Oxford than Dartford.

Solved and one happy bunny this morning.
There are 2 Hanging relays, one bright yellow ( Fuel Pump ) & one small Brown Ford one ( fuel injectors ).
Then there is a Tiny Diode hanging on the end of a Large Yellow with a colour stripe.
Also there are two wires joined together ( I will look up the colours later ) which were hanging free.
These two sets of wires should be plugged into the Fuel injector relay ( as per TVR drawing ).
Hey presto and the car runs.
Its taken me 3 days and a lot of checking before it finally took TWO seconds to fix it.
This time I have Tiewrapped , and labled everything up properly so it should not be able to fail again.

One strange thing is that it didn`t run properly again straight away. It died when ever I applied the throttle and sseemed like fuel starvation. Any way managed to keep it going for a mile or so and it cleared itself, eventually returning to its usuall errrotic ( er ! I mean Extatic )burbaling self again.

Phew!!!
