HELP! - Boxster roof problems

Hi - I'm after some assistance with my 1999 Boxster roof that for some reason has just mysteriously stopped working. Use it all the time, no problems whatsoever, then this morning, when you release the roof latch, the windows drop, but nothing when you press the switch. Anyone any ideas? Could it be the handbrake switch? any help much appreciated

I had the same problem - it turned out to be one of the micro-switches in the roof release mechanism. Windows dropped but nothing else happened.

Do you know where abouts they are or is it a garage job?

Sussed it - handbrake micro switch - mended it and all OK!
