Hants TVR owners Brooklands run Sun 9th

This Sunday is "British Sports car day" at Brooklands Museum nr Weybridge Surrey and a few of us are going along for the day 
Admission is £7, if you happen to be a member? of the TVRCC then you get a whooping £1 off i believe 
I know try and contain your selves at the back
If you would like to join us we will be meeting at a couple of locations on the way.
As usual WICKHAM SQUARE 9.00am meet for a 9.15am Depart
Second rendezvous HEN an CHICKEN A31 (yes the monthly meeting place) 9.45am approx and departing with in 5 minutes
We should get to Brooklands for approx 10.30/40

I have never seen Concorde close up so i`m (sad) looking forward to it

As a foot note guys an girls if i hadn`t arranged any meets over the past 12 month most of you wouldn`t have gone any where! So before moaning behind a key board that the runs i do are "too fast, "too early" "dis organised" "i`m anti TVRCC" come and speak to me, and then i`ll tell you to P

I arrange these meets for my friends, and then open it up to all, so if you want to come along..fine... if you want to come along and then criticize don`t bother, i`m not surprised that Hants is again with out a RO for it`s club
This run is not endorsed or covered by the TVRCC and or it`s insurance

Usually up for anything that involved Brooklands and telling the moany, anal retentive crowd to f**k off I took the Alvis to VSCC Brooklands in January; it stalled on the 1:4 bit of the test hill, run out of petrol, due to the slope. I had to turn to reserve to make it up the hill. Thank God the handbrake held.
Anyway have a good run, we're off to France on Wednesday, in the Griff.

Tony - imho your TVR run outs have always been well organised and very much appreciated. In fact without them the calendar would look petty empty - keep up the good work.
Saw you arriving at Goodwood for the breakfast meet last sunday as we were leaving, hope you enjoyed the morning, some great cars.
I will try and make it for Brooklands but not sure yet as depends what my eldest lad is doing for his birthday - he can't seem to make up his mind. Otherwise, I will see you at the next Hen&chuck meet. J

They never were unless it's a static event!
Static in a TVR I know! If I've managed to put the brakes together I'll try to come along but no promises as I'm busy most of this week!

Do you have a route yet so we can pick you up on the way, to save us driving down just to come back up.

Yes sometimes the runs are a bit fast but as long as us straglers know where we're going we can always catch up, I don't mind arriving last as long as the drive has been fun.

Thanks to Surrey for the invite great few, reasonably sunny hours wandering round with lots of things to see.
Sorry to hear Tony has a problem with his car that stopped him coming on the run (he can't get it wet)
seems to be a common fault as only 6 cars turned up at the H&C for the run down.
