I have been getting an intermitant squeal from the rear of my car for the past few weeks. Today the fuel pump fuse went. I put a 40 amp fuse in just to get home. Is the pump located in the fuel tank,can it be repaired? and is there a better after market pump that can be used?
Fuel pump in right hand side of boot. Cover is a hard box (covered in carpet) that is stuck on with velcro.
Cheers Mikesum. Looks like there may be two pumps,one in each side of the tank. The wires that go to the pump on the right are melted so its a new pump for me. Thanks for your help. Chris.
