Hi there,

just popped over here normally on the lotus forums.

Anyway, short version of why I am here is, I have been having a think (dangerous thing) and currently have a S2 Exige, and like Nobles.....

Does anyone know of this car or have opinions on the price? No pics yet but I have emailed them.

www.amsportscars.com/search.cfm - its top of that list.

I guessed there couldnt be too many 30k mile blue Nobles up here so someone may know it.

thanks in advance,
JJ

I am up in Aberdeen.

The only 2 Nobles in that colours that I know of are Brian J's who traded in for a Lotus at Murray Motors, and one here in Aberdeen of whom I have not seen in person but know from my friends that it is about.

Might be worth an email to Brian as he lives in that part of the world. He does contrubute on PH now and then.

I met Brian at a recent Knockhill trackday, and he told me his tale(s) of troubles he had (slightly offputting!) but he attributed it to a lot of track action. I personally have seen 3 blue Nobles up here, one of which was a 52 plate so it may be that one. I also read posts on here by a guy in Edinburgh with a blue one but his was non-standard.

Is 30k miles an issue providing 100% maintenance record (is it cheap enough considering its at 30k miles?)

If its who I think it is I have bought stuff off this guy in the past - didn't take too his kind of customer focus - or lack of it at the time. Would certainly not recommend him.

It's not my former car which was on a 53 plate - there was an earlier Ayrshire owned blue Noble which the then Noble service agent told me was "in the worst condiiton he'd ever seen"!

The other thing to check is who is servicing Nobles now in Scotland - and how well? Jamie (JAZ 34) may advise. (Hi Jamie)

Hi Brian,

Wuld it be possible to find out details? The car isnt in yet as I got an email from them this morning.

Does the factory keep records / details of cars or would dealers be the best people to talk to?

I might recognise the reg no if you get it.

The factory would only be any use if it had been there - I saw it at John Muir's MV Turbos when he was service agent.

I was under the impression that all service information is meant to be forwarded to the factory, hence if it had been serviced by a noble certified garage they should have some info.

I may be wrong though!!.

Not sure who the previous owner of the car is, but im sure it will be easy enough to find out once there are pictures of the car and you can note the Registration, I live just down the road from this garage in Edinburgh and purchased my Tuscan from them, very helpful and the car never missed a beat the 3 years I had it!! Surprising for a Tuscan I know!

As for Servicing here in Scotland, Speak to Graham at Murray Motor Company as they are now the Scottish Noble Dealers, all there guys have been trained up on the cars and they seem very helpful.

I crossed the sacred 70K line when the car came back from LeMans.
