Overfilled the oil

Just given the car a well deserved post-Lemans rub down and decided to top up the necessaries.

Gone a bit O.T.T with the oil though...


Imagining the minimum and maximum fill levels, I've over filled by about a fifth.


What are the consequences ? I normally fill just over - but this time its a bit more than it should be.

What should I do ????

What's that, quarter of an inch or less? The only problem you're risking is oil blown out of the breather (and back into the intake). I normally overfill by about half an inch for track days and I've never found any problem with it.

I reckon it's about quarter of an inch, Green.

It shouldn't cause a big engine problem should it ?
