What a Great Day
Discussion
Bloody good to meet up again, AND meet some new faces. It just keeps going from strength to strength, though I think we should change venue, since the police presence goes from strength to strength too.
Thank you to Daz for redefining the term 'F*** me that's quick'. That is SUCH an impressive car and the driver's not too shabby either! Amazing. The speed & traction are just staggering. This was worth waiting for. Thanks also to Steve for taking me out in his Chim- this is the first TVR I've ever been in and it was a total hoot. Can't get over the sheer sensation of speed you get, and the sideways action was pretty damned impressive too. Bit shocking the first time he did it mind, and I could have done with a bit of warning since for a second or two there I thought I was having a near death experience
For me, the day also underlined the 355 as being the daddy for the best sounding car. Tubi + decat 355 is just awesome; Fraser & Bernard you are lucky barstewards. Ninja, you could be lucky too! Go on, you know you want to
Don't know about you, but I thought the minutes noise was an appropriate tribute for Harrigan. Hope he heard it.

My first time @ a PH meet. I had a fantastic day. Even the girlfriend enjoyed it!!!
Thanks to Manu for spending some time talking about Tubi's although after hearing the 355 de-cat Tubi and Rich's "black" tubi'd 360 I don't need much persuading to get one fitted to my 360 when it arrives in April!!! Whoppeeee!!!
Manu, will let u know the exact deliv date so I can get Tubi'd up immediately!!!

No you're not Rich - it got that way driving it hard on the way ( I won't let on that it was dirty at Dartford already )
Thankyou for taking our friend back to Clacketts - she loved it - hopefully the leather will not need mopping off...
Great day and thanks to Manu & AJ for their hospitality as ever....
Manu - call you later to find out what you and Ali were planning on my mobile message last night....deviants....

Manu and Ajay, thanks for your nice hospitality! Sorry I couldn't be there for long and didn't have a chance to meet and socialise with too many people - I was functioning on 3 hours' sleep and had to rush for lunch with friends visiting from overseas. But looking forward to another meet-up and hopefully to having a tubi on my 360 by the summer...
Fab day with excellent turn out...!! Thanks to all that made it up - having all the assorted exotica in the car park was quite a sight!!
Special mention goes to Rich for having the most filthy 360 Spider in the entire fu*king world - dude - what the HELL do you do in that car to get it that dirty......? erm... in fact don't answer that....
Here's to the next meet - we still need to get a good passenger ride swapping session sorted and get some more serious driving done.
(Daz - you have email.)

Great to see everyone again. Managed to say put some faces to names, but not nearly enough as I wanted to. Its like meeting members of a VERY large family
Another wonderful collection of cars (all of them, not just the donkeys).
Basher, there really isn't a word to describe how wonderful your car sounded mate. You've convinced me, BUT, can I convince you? It MIGHT all make sense in a month or so. We'll wait and see. The 355 is the most amazing sounding car this side of an F50!
Manu and Ajay, sort out a barbecue next time guys.
Sorry to all those who were meant to go for a blast with me, I did try to find you guys.
Basher, you barsteward, your car sounds MAD!! Skank!
Edited to say: hope someone got a picture of Rich's 360 Spider, as you won't find one so dirty! Rich, your car was FILTHY, bit like Manu's mind I guess

Sorry you will have to speak louder I am DEAF
No idea why
Great day lets do it again soon...
Ali - do your worst....oh and by the way Manu says he has got that inflateable cushion in stock at last.... no, the one for you to sit on in the car not the one to lie on at night.....
Really freaky when you overtake another 355 and all you can see is a pair of hands and a periscope....
Ninja was probably checking out his magazine collection under the dash and driving at the same time

Dirty Ferraris are the only sort to be seen in (Mr Collins - yours does not count as dirty. I'd have put money on you having it trailered to Egham). Though I was a bit shame faced seeing my two tone effort parked amongst the shiny stuff.
Great day, also nice to put faces to names etc.
Must now try and keep the credit card in the wallet for a little while longer (don't worry Manu, I doubt it'll be in there for too long). The sound of the Spider had to be felt half a mile back to be believed.
For now I'll savour Weston Street tunnel at 8.5k revs with the windows down...

Great day, Great cars! Kev, thanks for the ride in the 456 - what a car! Sorry about the jangled nerves from the cheeky sideways action - your reaction was brilliant, "jesus, f#ck me pink! No, don't slow down" Excellent. Top quality car nut.
Ninja / Manu, missed you again. Where do you get to? Anyway, big thanks also to the guys in the cruise round from Dartford - what a sight / sound (especially Basher's decat'd 355!)...
Kev, as discussed - we must organize a bit of 'road combat' again soon...

Many thanks to everyone for a truly great day.
Great turnout and thanks AJ/Manu for the hospitality.
I still can't get over the sound of that de-catted 355... pure F1. They must have been scratching their heads accross the road at Maranello sales!!
Mind you - if that doesn't sell a car I don't know what would.
I initially came along to hear a Tubi on a 360 - Manu, you knew that would do the trick!
Needless to say I was mildly disappointed with my stock exhaust even through the Lime house link at full song going home...
Darn.. now where did I put that cheque book...
This was my first 'get together' with you guys and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It would have been nice with a little more driving/listening and another 10 degrees.
Any ideas guys for another meeting, perhaps travelling together, out of heavy traffic with room to put the back end out!?
I managed to put a few faces to names but sadly not enough so here is to the next 'tubi' outing.
