Spotted: White GTR near Elsworth Cambs

Hi It was me, was on the way to the Golden Ball in Boxworth. was taking a freind for a blast.
Speed humps are generally no issue providing you take it slow on approach. Have been caught out by one or two as I have a dropped floor pan which is slightly lower in the middle to take taller people (have managed to squeeze a 6' 7" friend into the passenger seat).
Hope you like the car. Goes like S**t of a shovel. 535Bhp and 520 ft Lbs touque. V quick, but there are still quicker. don't know what top end is as have not had it there yet. Saw off a Diablo on the way to Le Mans, i quit at 160Mph and let it go.

Same as my Atom then, the Elsworth ones seem particularly high.
Am intersted you can fit a 6"7er into the car, could he drive it. I quite fancy an Ultima in future but they look a bit small for my 6"6 frame

You need to have the pics hosted on another web site and link to them in your message, i.e. put the URL of the pics in between the formatting code.

Go to Imageshack.
Hit the browse button which takes you into your own computers file system. Go to the folder you have your picture in and double click it. Hit the 'host it' button. Your picture will then be hosted and both above the picture and below it will be about 6 different link formats of the hosted picture. go to the very bottom one and highlight it, then copy.
Back in the thread on Pistonheads do [pic] then paste the link then [/pic] but you must not have any spaces in it. This will display the picture without people having to click on it.
If you have a number of pics to do then I find it best to do the whole thing in Word and when your happy with it copy and paste the whole thing into your post.

Its Broke!
Lots of kind/generous people stopped - including a guy who broke one of his spanners so we could get to the belt tensioner.
I had a great time being co-pilot!
Amazing car, just made me want one more! (especially when we carefully accelerated away from the toll station

Great Photo's. Did only say bored looking. Waiting for the tunnel and not driving is very boring. You were a great passenger and when the chips were down and the belt on the floor you had the opportunity to walk out to your mates in Le Mans (we were only 2 miles from the entrance) and you stayed and helped fix the car, even when this took 4 hours. Great Journey, good fun, nice to see off a few cars. See you there is 2007.

I did. Took 4 hours and some learning, i.e. Spanners can be shorter than they were made. Tuxman has also helped out with the cooling issue and it is better than it was. I still do not think that itis totally fixed. However tuxman richened up the mixture on tick over, which apparently cools the top of the pistons and reduced the tick over speed (huge difference). I have not tried it really yet as it has been put away. Trying to take the spolight off the car.
May get the Girlfriend to come to the Kimboloton Day in the GTR. Will be the first time she's been in it so need the Air con belt fixing PDQ. Whatever happens I should be there with or wiithout GF. Hopefully with.
