I think the best colour is Burgandy. Mine is the Titanium.

Good luck in your search Mike. What are you going for 2.5 or 3.0.

I think colour is the least of your worries just trying to find the right one will be hard enough.

its a 3.0 i'm going for

The current owner posts on here

I have some fairly radical plans for the car

I remap cars for a living so would like to come up with some different types of mods for them

Every modification will be documented with details and Dyno charts etc

I know you do, you put mine on the rollers at Brands and I went home with your phone that you dropped in the car.

I would have thought that you would have gone for a 2.5 as you belived they reved more freely and they are slightly stonger engines (so I've been told).

nice colour lucozade

Bondy - yes remember the phone incident well !!

The 2.5's make power at a higher rpm than the 3.0 - this is because the 3.0 reaches max airflow lower in the Rpm - i'm not after a rev monster, not sure the engine is suited to lots of revs ?

Does anybody know if the 2.5 and 3.0 share the same cylinder head ?

Can you do bikes too? My KTM Super Duke is running like piece of sh** on a steady throttle. Apparently "they all do that sir"

M12 is silver (not titanium). Great colour as it doesn't get too hot in the sun and doesn't show the dirt

Sorry that none of these are on my driveway!!

Azure blue gets my vote (obviously) although I was actually after a burgandy 3R, however as mentioned above, the colour should not be the first thing that you look for as finding a really good one is more important. I was told by the dealer that there are only 1 or 2 burgandy 3R's!

surely it should be "TO Hull and back?" or are you advertising your origins?

I like Joust's old pictures too....trouble is you've got to keep it b****y clean and waxed for it to look so good...one 1/2 hour blast and it looks dirty again....

...silver or titanium look good for longer between washes...and titanium is far and away the most popular (some say "common" colour)

so really depends how much time you've got to wash it

Rubbish - it took me a week and 1000 miles to make it look like this

Still, if you use a decent wax like Swissol all it neesd is a quick wash and dry...
