ENGLAND ENGLAND - TVR to support Footy

Since the world cup thing has started and the country seems to be gripped with Footy Fever - there seems to be lots of cars with flags hanging onto windows. AND some Vans and Cars with a big red St Georges cross on the car or bonnet!!!

TVR is a great British Marque - Has anyone (cringes in anticipation) put a big red St Georges cross on their Tiv ?

Or have we been a bit more discreet?



I am just off to get a tin of red emulsion, to start work on the car straight away - It will wash off I hope !!!

Have some red Hammerite and white Dulux Weathersheild in the garage, if you're passing by !!

But TVRs are not usually driven by Chavs so I doubt there will be many with St. Georges Cross flags. At least we can hope not...

How to support England and still look cool(ish) in your Chim.

1. Take one 3x5 foot chavvy flag (49 pence at Somerfield)

2. Remove hard top from car.

3. Wrap chavvy flag around hard top so the red cross is nice and central.

4. Refit top, making sure flag is nice and tight.

5. Watch people gasp with amazement as you drive by looking as cool as Peter Crouch's dancing. (5 synchronised Peter Crouchs)

I've had a lot of grins and waves over the last few days; although with the top on it's hard to hear exactly what people are saying.

Which is maybe just as well............................

Probably - "Look at that bloody chav"

You know Ferrari and some Porkers have the shield about the side repeaters of the marque? How about some stickers in the shape of the shield with the St. George cross on - chav or not?

That would be chav IMHO - keep Tivs free of George flags please - that's my plea for the day

I have decided that a large photos of Peter Crouch on the bonnet is much less chavy. (you must have along Bonnet)

Then the words;

"He's big,
he's red,
his feet stick out the bed,
he's Peter Crouch"

In Red and white letter down the side of the car

Although I am German I cannot think of making a more pro English satement as driving a TVR so no flag needed.
I was thinking of fitting a German flag to my CERBIE as I wanted to know whether it is so English that nobody would dare to scratch the car even with this offence-- your comments, please

Had a couple of "stick-on" flags on my cerb. Took it for a blast, one lasted just under a mile, the other about 10. Got a big cheer from the lager fueled chavs in the town centre though....
