It's a fun little track, very short but very difficult to get right, in fact I suspect if you asked the top three drivers at any event what the right line was they'd each give you a different answer. It helps that it's a short track because it makes it easier to learn, and it's one of the cheapest venues in the country to hire. On the other hand it *is* very short and you'd get bored if you spent all day there.
Not wishing to sound pedantic, I neverthelss feel duty bound to warn novices not to think that because it's only a small circuit, that it's much cuddlier and cuter than it's bigger realtions.

- particularly the fast initial left-hander and the immediately following right. I have seen a Ferrari Dino badly wrecked there years back.
I also have a friend who hired the place with a mate, to try his (v. quick) Zetec powered Westfield, and his mates Caterham. They swapped cars (I know - a recipe for 'zaster) and his mate stuffed his Westfield at that corner.
I'm not ashamed to admit that it's always frightened me a little, although it's a great circuit and, as Pete says, a real challenge to learn.

Most sprint/ hillclimbs have teeth Marcus!! Especially harewood... ...still a fantastic place though! 
I must admit I've not seen many cars go off at Curb, not at the places mentioned anyway (a couple at molehill, but not usually into it!) Seems most go off after finishing thier runs and getting onto the brakes.

Yeah, the fast left causes problems, it can be tricky controlling the speed into Molehill, and people sometime forget to slow down quickly enough after crossing the line and get into trouble.
Also, the bottom access road can be very slippery in the autumn with the leaf mulch. Its where I came the closest ever to putting a car on its roof, all at 20 mph.

Curborough is fine as long as you recognise that there is no run-off on the outside. There are several places where you're at risk of going off on the outside and you need to drive accordingly. One of the most treacherous corners is the right-hander (woodside) at the start of the back straight. If you let the back end get away from you on the way out of the paddock bend and don't get turned into woodside, you've got ten feet of grass and then you're square into the crash barrier at 80 mph. On the other corners the main danger is a tank slapper that sends you off on the outside. This is all manageable as long as you're aware of the danger and drive accordingly.
