I love classic TVR's but would you pay £25k for this? Its very nice and probably very very fast but a normal Vixen is about £8500 in mint condition and you can get an original Griffith from about £25k if you can find one..so would you?

I like it, looks fab and i bet it goes some too, not sure i would pay that forit, would if it was a Griffith Mk I though.

They had a 1964 Race preped Griffith,400bhp in Coys at Monaco a few weeks back, it was estimate was £21k - £27k dont know what it went for in the end, but certainly looked stunning. see if i can find it

Yep, well this is it. Its a lot of dollar. It probably cost a huge amount to be built but...I was offered a '65 Griffith for £16.5k last year but wasn't in a position to buy
.. that had a 350bhp 289 engine with COBRA cam covers...uhhhh..what a bargain someone must have got!
The Coys Griff is up at their next sale... £30-35k

If only, i think its great that someone can blow all that money on building up their dream car. The car may otherwise have gathered dust in the back of the garage

People who say that moderns are superior are rather missing the point. Sure they're better but then a Boxster S is a "better" car than a tuscan. B*llox to that....
At the end of the day when you think performance for pound its pretty awesome with a top spec (right size) engine (from what I understand the 302 is a nicer lump than the old 289) and with that kind of an output no cerb would see which way it went
