Excellent achievement. Funny how Autocar totally ignore them (ergo the story in Autocar this week).

If only they would come out with a different styling, the current car just doesn't do it for me, and Nick thinks they are plain horrible.

In my so far one competitive outing with one of these at Brands Hatch, he just drove past me. I don't know what engine he was packing or what power he had but I was doing all I could and he just wafted on by with a serene ease that made me think "I should be in one of those....."

They are as ugly as sin but as fast as any fast thing. Could you put a Noble body on one of their chassis?

I feel the same I'm afraid.

I do think they look very cool, but I have spent a day out in one and its much more of a hardcore race car feel. If thats what you want then it would be great but I think the Noble is in between user friendly and hardcore track car. Just about right.

At this moment in time my next car will be either an Exige S, and Lambo Gallerdo or the next M12 incarnation. Depending on .......

a) the size of my cash pile.

b) The depreciation of Gallardo's

c) The asthetics of the next M12 replacement etc.

I would love to say that the M15 would be next, but as hard as I try, I just can't fall in love with its rear 3/4! (and I am gutted about it as I would love to love it!)

Er, I know the feeling, but yours looked exactly like a Noble at Brands when it passed me!

Very quick, but I'd like to see how it was organised if it was 0-150-0!

0-100 is clearly too easy these days

lol! Ultima felt the same way. When the Sunday Times did their test, Ultima said they would only participate if it was 0-150-0. The other participating manufacturers (Ariel, Caterham and ererrr... Noble) were having none of it (not sure if the Ariel/Caterham can even do 150mph), so Ultima withdrew.

For the record, Ultima 0-150 is 11.8 seconds
Noble is 23secs

You're right Dan, I did consider one....

..until I realised it was made of 90% donor parts and the bodyword came from a sweat shop in SA

Noble isn't famous for its low drag bodywork 11.8 is very impressive though!
