Door seals

Hi all,

I am going to replace the seal that runs all along the doors up to the top of the windscreen and back to the other door.
Looking at the one in place at the moment and after getting samples from woolies, it appears it is #266 (woolies door seals).
But it has been glued with silicone (!!!) so i was wondering if I had to go for something a bit bigger, like #266A or this is normal practice...

Anybody has done that? it is for a S1...

Woolies 266 is what I used to replace the Targa seal (goes around the targa/roof panel join).

The long door & windscreen seal should have a bigger "snappon" and bead, but I found 266A too small for my car (S2). I used East Kent no.84, which was the same size as the original seal.

If I change a few, better change the lot
