Nice one Greg. Looks like you've worked hard to get it looking like that.

Sorry I missed your call. Did you get any paint?

Very shiny. Not sure mine will be similarly shiny - I might go "au natural"

Leave the clothes on, Justin, the Gendarmes don't like naked men driving through built up areas

I went with a ford colour in the end. Its not spot on, but it makes the chips look better than the white primer.

Think I'm going to have a front end respray one day.

I have also spent today masking and repainting the front grills.

I used hamerite normal paint and they look spanking new! Bit shiney though. Maybe I should have got matt paint!

I just used Autoglyn Super resin polish and it has come up a treat. Very pleased.

I just found them at A1 Discount Auto parts in Cambridge. I think its the "local auto shop" thing rather than Halfords.

I want 2 big number 55's in circles (about 12" across) one for each door, but have no idea where to get them from.

Is there a motocross shop near you? They would have them.

I'd be VERY carefull when you take those stickers off. I can just see "paint that isn't very sticky to the bodyshell in the first place" coming with them. looks good though. the front end will be covered in bugs within about an hour of crossing the channel.
