Hello to everyone concerned with SCH4.

Agree with gazman comments - plus both of us feel a whole lot better as well !

We did made the morning, and the day although very wet held promise. Thank-you to fliny and others drinking coffee in the hotel, and watching the rain come down. We had a lunch in the car and I got a lot worse - my chest infection together with coughing fits and general malaise finished me off. Helen (who should be obeyed if I know what's good for me) ordered us home, wet cold and very infectious. She was right - diagnosed with a lung infection, and now and only just recovering. SCH4 was not the only time I had been soaked the last few weeks so cannot blame the event for my distress. In the end although weather was disappointing illess got the better of us.

At least we registered a car - hopefully.

We were both very disappointed not to meet more 'new friends' but will ensure to make next a next year event - whatever is organised.

thank-you to all involved. I have read the posts and those who stopped enjoyed the company and the Sunday brightness I am sure.

Regards to all - keep the sun shining.

Same here, although the rain meant much longer in the bar getting to know people better

Given the weather, I think it just shows how good the organisation was, that we had an event at all.

Gave me an opportunity to get to know Garthy and Grant over lunch in the pub.
Garthy (a Bristol Rovers fan) and me a Bristol City fan managed a whole lunch without falling out

Yes, I did think about the sunshine yesterday !

Actually I did get a call from the hotel asking if we were happy.
I said that in general they made the weekend bearable and other than no chef Saturday lunchtime till late, was the only slight blot.
I think it would have been an absolute disaster but for the inside facilities.
Lets remember that next year!

Ha, I stayed out in the rain had to make the most of it. Good to see the old faces and the new, why wasn`t it this weekend, would have been a cracker and possibly teased a few more cars out. No, I`m not bitter, blame the weather and to think I wanted to pitch a tent!!!!

Couldn't agree more. Last weekend pee'ed with rain, this weekend not able to use the car and it's beautiful. Bugger !!!!! I've been a right grumpy git cos of it.

There's always next year. Still it was very relaxing drinking coffee watching the rain hammer down.

It could have been worse we could have been at Silvestone........

a big to Derek and co for organising though, it must have been very disppointing for you.
