Windscreen cracked. How to fix?

I have had a little hair line crack in the screen for a few months now, but the other day it went about a foot straight through my line of view|!

The timimg is great, 2 days before I go on holiday and then straight to Le Mans!

Called RAC windscreens this morning who are my insurance co's people, and guess what?

"Its a Noble"

"Yes Sir, but who is it made by?"

"Err, Nobel. N-O-B-L-E"

"But who is the manufacturer Sir"





So, they are going to give me a call back on Monday.

Do you guys know where the screen has to come from, and are there any handy tips for its fitting that I should tell the guy?


Is it safe to let a bog-standard windscreen dude, loose on my car if its the first Noble he has done?

I got Autoglass to do a stone chip last weekend and the customer services person said that they had a Noble M12 screen in stock at their central wharehouse

I think you're answering your own question there matey...

There is a part number to quote to help you help the RACAW / AG boys:

9407AGS

If they still end up looking like an envelope with no address on it, don't let them any where near your car - under any circumstances.

That part number needs putting somewhere safe

Autoglass got me a new screen within a few days and fitted it good. They even put an nice felt material around the edge where the dashboards meets the screen. It certainly tidies it up and hides the silicone.

Just make sure they don't hoover your dash afterwards at it will scratch it.
