Argh !! My first breakdown - clutch cable.....

Arrggggghhh!!!
Took the S3 over to my brothers this afternoon so he could have a look how much (little) luggage room it has. We're off to Le mans soon and he has a habit of over packing....
Went out for a bit of a blast and let my brother drive, out of a roundabout in second and gave it some beans to try and provoke a little oversteer and the throttle pedal fell to the floor. Some layby investigations and we discovered the plastic 'tit' on the pedal end of the cable had pulled off. A really stupid design in my opinion, whatever happened to good old metal cable ends? A quick trip to Halfords for a mountain bike brake cable inner and some electrical choc blocks and I was mobile again....
I want to buy a new throttle cable (and get a spare!!), can any of you educated folk give me the relevant Ford part number? I assume it's a standard Ford part and not a TVR hybrid?
