American Speed had set everything perfectly, we just turned the idle from 1000 down to 800.

I've downloaded another onto PH TV - guess it appear in a few days........

I'm off to have a pint!!!

Nice on Pete - sounds like a momentous day for both of us!

Will try and get some video of the Can-Am done at the weekend. It's SOOOO much nicer to be able to hear the V8 properly when driving

Continuing the celebration - mine had first startup 2 days ago!! Still lots to do in the engine bay, but a big step taken!

That's one quick build. I'm only a few weeks away now from firing up my new supercharged engine for my Can-Am. Hope to video the engine start.

Pete - where in Surrey are you? Not a Can-am is it - difficult to tell from that angle.

Knew a guy in Cirecester that built a Can-am in the worrkshop of the chap that used to build engines for me (Does Chevy Race lumps), that one had an all alloy 7.1 with around that power - turbine smooth. Love to see it - CHEVY's RULE (but then I would say that!)
