Thought about it. I'm going the following cheap day just in case I get thrown out with the new exhaust.

If you're going, get a lesson with Calum!!

Details are on their website:

www.goldtrack.co.uk/

I know this has been covered many times and scuse me for being lazy, but what is the static test noise level for 3R / M400 with standard exhaust?

Cheers,
Ian.

Well they paid the bonus at work this week so I decided to book my first track outing, so I guess I will see you there Ian.

So got new rear tyres that I have done 200 miles on so should be just about scrubbed in. What else do I need to do (other than check I can have the day off work) - People keep talking about tapeing something up to stop oil spilling out ?

Are competition insurance still the favourite for track day cover ?

Cheers Rob.

Ian, if you're standard you'll have no worries. Donny sound folk told me a standard Noble runs about 92dB drive by. I think static is about 97dB but varies depending on how it's measured. The drive by is all you need worry about anyway.

Mate...you'll love it. While I think Paddock Hill Bend, the compression and Druids at Brands is the best piece of tarmac in the world, Donnington, as a whole, is my favourite track. Craner Curves is just one one long "bottle job".

Martin.

yes it did,big time!
i was following it out of the 'old hairpin' ,he got two tyres in the gravel, tried to correct and spun into atyre wall backwards.major rear damage and chasis twisted.spoke to the guy later and he reckoned it was a right off!when will those Germans learn not to put the motor in the back of the car!
despite all this,an absolutely fantastic day,5 Nobles showed.

lol, engine in the back is awesome

Feel really sorry for the guy, but what with the one that got written off at spa on the weekend, I can feel my residuals going up as I type!
