I just wanted to say a few thankyous to the people who made the Event something a bit different.
Firstly to Richard, who very kindly brought *the* Carbon Tuscan up from Cambridge to Blackpool for me to use in the parade. Richard...it was a pleasure to drive and I dont think I would have got in it if I knew how much it is worth..!
Ben Samuleson - you are a complete star. I cant thank you enough for what you have done over the past week and the speach you did, it said everything about Dad that could be said.
Keith Jones, Mike Penny - I didnt know half of the stories about Dad..
Chris Schirle - bless you for flying in from kuala lumpur for the day. Yes he flew in in the morning, went to the funeral and then was back at Manchester airport at 2pm to fly back to KL.
Noel Palmer, James Pillar, Bryan Horner, Stewart Halstead - so nice to see you after all these years.
Jason Cooke - for bringing Dads white press griff. When I saw it I had tears pouring down my cheeks as I saw him sat in it again.
Phil James - for getting Boss up there, I will take you up on the offer
Howard - Thanks love, give us a call.
Steve Cole, Martin Crass - you two havent changed a bit.
Gerbil, Whitfield and Scouse - you 3 made it bearable.
Rupert - Just for being there as one of my oldest friends.
Ian - I cant even put into words what I want to say to you.
There are so many, many more, including the guys from the factory who walked across.
You would have made Dad proud.
