steel wheel nuts

Hi, i've just got some nuts for my steel wheels and they are open ended is this normal? ta Andy

Yes, make sure you put a bit of copper grease on the threads when fitting them.

To stop the b*gg**s from seizing on when the wet gets into the threads and snapping the studs when you try to undo them(well, I've snapped a few!).
