And I mean what have you really seen rather than what the magazines/ferrari say??? Will they really go over 180 ??
They are meant to do 187. However, it is very difficult to get accurate real world vMax readings.
- MIRA bowl etc all have 1-2% speed loss due to tyre scrub
- Bruntingthorpe 2 mile straight too short in my opinion... you need massive acceleration as well because those miles go quickly at high-ish speeds, and you have to brake for a sharp bend at the end.
- Can't trust a speedo, unless it's been properly calibrated.
- GPS readings may be more accurate, but not sure of this.
Even if someone has seen 180 on the clock, real speed may only have been 170 or so.
Therefore, difficult question to answer in reality
