spacers or s brakes

Hi, i've just got a set of s rims that i really wanted for my car, problem is... they just touch my 4pots but only just, now do i get 3mm spacers or go back to my s brakes? If i use the shims will my standard bolts be long enough and will it affect the drive?? Cheers Andy

Well I haven't ever used 4 pots - but lots of people seem to have the same problem, and most seem to give up!
Are you sure 3mm would cure it?

At the moment do the studs stick out beyond the nut at least 3mm? - if not then no.

Yes, on the front. It'll make bump steer worse
