Cobalt Blue

I have to confirm the build spec for my 997 s this week and I am torn re colour.Artic silver ( the "safe " option ) or Cobalt blue.
I know its personal but would appreciate any comments , ( good or bad ) re Cobalt .

Cobalt looks great on the 997.

But why not be completely different and order it in WHITE will look stunning!!!!!

Could Cobalt become the defining '06 colour and therefore age accordingly? There's quite a few on the autotrader website already ....

You could always go for Polar Silver. Has a hint of blue to make it far more distinctive that Artic Silver and you don't see that many either....

I bought a Cobalt Blue 986 and was unsure about the colour at first, but since I've waxed it and the sun came out briefly I wouldn't have another colour. The colour depth is so deep and you don't see many (986's anyway) about.

Do it.

I'm thinking Cobalt Blue, never seen it on a 997, but on the Cayman and Boxster it looks brilliant, which is probably why it's so expensive! It would look pretty special with cream leather as well.

I'm getting a bit fed up of seeing endless lines of 997's (generally Carrera S's) in Black, Grey, or Silver (but mostly grey) with black leather. You're buying a car, pick a colour for it!!!

Obviously I'd go with the Guards Red and beige leather, but then I like vulgarity and have no taste

I know someone with a cobalt blue Cayman and it look very nice.

Get a Guards Red 997.

You see, you can get the dials and the seatbelts in guard red too (how cool is that?), but not in Cobalt Blue or silver, so really if you get anything else you're not getting you money's worth!
