As i posted in a previous thread i'm new to this site and not yet a TVR owner but everyone who has given advice has been really helpful and friendly. you seem like a really good group of peeps and i look forward to hopefully one day soon being part of this group with my very own TVR.

Hiya, yes I found people to be very welcoming on here and in fact most of the forums on Pistonheads when I was looking to buy and throughout my ownership so far.

Whereabouts in Dorset are you?

I'm in Bournemouth. the perfect place to cruise around in the summer. always had sensible cars in the past so i figured i'd better change that. Especially with the price of liquid gold the way it is i may noy be able to run a TVR in a few years time.

Engine still being rebuilt after a little wait for some parts.

Hopefully have the car in the next week or so... I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that I can go to S Club in it... but equally the engine will need running in so the Hoon might be out of the question

I found them all to be incredibly rude and complete w**kers.

Just kidding. Love you all.

Do you know of any good TVR dealers and mechanics down south?
Poole way if possible. not sure i can be dealin with all the duelin banjos over there in deepest darkest Darzet. Suprised you don't have your tiv runnin on scrumpy. Highly volatile stuff.

Well there's Westover in Poole.

www.westovergroup.co.uk/fiat_alfaservparts/index.html

I've only had an MOT done there though but they seemed efficient enough.

Fernhursts (Surrey?) seem to come highly recommended but no personal experience of them. I used to use Peninsula down near Exeter but the service at Dulford with my knackered Tiv has been great so far. So I might stick with them.

Other than that, I don't know.

Maybe post on the South Coast forum. Or as a separate thread on the General TVR.
