Insurance companies that do monthy premiums

Got my renewal through from Classicline at a reasonable £277 but they want a cheque for the year and if I remember rightly if you cancelled the insurance part way through the year there is no refund... anyone know of a competitive company that does monthly premiums that if required can be stopped mid year?

RH specialists knocked spots off classicline for me and do monthly payments.

thanks £10 cheaper and offer a pro rata refund if the policy is cancelled at any time..

Only £10 - they were over £100 for me - obviously depends on location, type of cover etc etc but glad to hear it was a better deal anyhow.

Thanks for all the posts, I'm currently using Classic Line £295 + £19.95 for UK breakdown cover, I have phoned your recommended company late this afternoon, now awaiting a call tomorrow for an all in lower quote. That's the 'wonder' of the Pistonhead 'S' forum!

Thanks to you guys for flagging up this insurance company, just had my quote - £252! yes £252 and yes that does include breakdown cover (but not home start) That a saving of £70 for me - Thanks.
Just one point they do monthly installments, but beware at a cost of an additional 8 per cent. This has to be the cheapest, can anyone beat that (which includes breakdown cover on a 5000 limited mileage)?

RH have also come up trumps for me, just got a quote for my renewal of 252 english pounds. I dont think thats bad considering I have 1 fault claim from 2.5years ago and the car isn't garaged.
If ya renewal is due its gotta be worth giving em a ring....
