All them southerners seem to be getting themselves convoys organised to SCH, where are all the northern boys? I will be going for Saturday only and will probably be departing from the Castleford area.
Come on people lets see who is going from up this end of the country and see if we can get ourselves a bit of a convoy sorted.

Carl.

I'm travelling down from 'Up Norf' but from the other side of the hills from you. I get the delights of the M6 although I can use the race track (sorry I mean the M6 Toll Road).

I will be going for the Saturday unless the weather forecast is bad, but Woodall is better for me than Woolley, as I am starting from south-west Sheffield. In fact, Tibshelf at 9 would be best of all. Any good for you guys? I agree - M1, M69, A46 seems the best route.

If 9 at Tibshjelf is confirmed I might just join up with you as I will be travelling down about then.

As long as you have shades and don't mind tying up with seven.

Chris, is a while since I headed south so just a guess but if we are gonna meet up with the others at Tibshelf for 9ish I think we should be leaving Woolley around 8:15 to 8:20 how does that sound to you?
Can one of you other guys try to sort the route for after we meet up at Tibshelf please? I don't have Autoroute at the mo and hence would have to guess at times and best routes.
Appreciated,
Carl.

Provided it is not forecast to rain all day, I'll be at Tibshelf at 9-ish. From there it looks like M1, M69, A46, A429 and A422. There are directions on the Ettington Chase website. Do we need each other's mobile numbers in case of problems and to save people waiting about?

I'll be heading down from east notts. Anyone planning a stop further down the M1? I can get on as high as j25. Or anywhere further down the route?

Hi Adrian. looks like we will be getting off the m1 onto m69 so we could do trowell or leicester forest if thats better. Will probably be leaving tibshelf around 9:15 ish so at a guess maybe an hour later at LFE does that sound about right? If ya wanna meet there let us know and we will stop off for ya.
Carl.

Carl - what an organiser! I'll be at Tibshelf at 9 (with Gef and his 7?) Sir.
Adrian - if you tell me your mobile number I could contact you on the road so we all meet on the move at the top of the M69. The guys from West Yorks will have stopped twice already. What do you think? My number is 07831 118066.

Cheers. I'll be at LFE at 10am in the 'S' along with my old man in some german hairdressers car (I beleive in some circles it's called a Boxster). Mark i'll text you my number so you can let us know when you're passing and we'll come out to play!

See you in the morning. Fingers crossed for sunshine!!

Ok guys, looks like we are just about sorted. Personally I have no problem with stopping for 10 mins at LFE to meet up with Adrian, in fact would consider it rather unsociable if we didn't so unless anyone objects in the morning we will plan to do that (majority rules of course). Ok here's my number again in case anyone needs it (hopefully I will hear it over the exhaust, you may have to try twice) 07919 071922.
See you all in the morning,
Carl.

p.s. Steve, hope you have some weather gear for ya 7 if ya coming....
