I've had to overhaul my distributor and now I need to set the ignition timing up statically to get the car started, does anyone know which cylinder I use? Otherwise is off on my bike to the car shop for a Ford manual.

Most 4 cylinder cars use No 1 cylinder to set the timing. So do most V6 and V8s AFAIK. So does this one.
